Two years ago I became a mum for the first time and it absolutely wonderful. Now I have two amazing little toddlers who have completely changed me. They have made me the happiest person on earth.…

Coo sleeping as a term. Coo sleeping is when little babies and young toddlers are kept close to their parents in their room. Bed sharing, side sleeping, cots in the parents room but not in the kids room. Coo sleeping might not seem like a great idea to everyone. Before I had my son I never thought of coo sleeping as an option. Here we come! Baby was here , sleepless nights were real, tiredness was at the limit plus baby sleeps were short in his crib. One night I decided to bring him over to my bed and I had the best night in a long time. Why coo…

Less than 10 minutes boys haircut

Less than 10 minutes boys haircut! This is how I cut my son’s hair using only hair clippings. It’s easy and quick and it takes less than 10 minutes. My son is little so I don’t worry about being judged on how his hair looks. If am only halfway cutting his hair and he asks me to stop I do so before he throws a tantrum. I continue whenever he is feeling better even the next day, I have done it many times. He doesn’t like to go to a hair salon. He cries and gets very upset. I have learnt cutting his hair more each time. I am not…

Baking with the kids, A day of fun and disaster

Baking with the kids! what a great day to bake with the kids! Funny! Interesting and messy of course but we loved it. Kids love to do new things, touch different textures, making shapes and being part of what parents do. Today Alex and Juliette made scones with mummy. Alex was very excited when I showed him what we were going to do and he sat there playing with the rolling-pin and Juliette with the pastry cutter. I mixed all the ingredients  until I formed the dough  and floured the table for all of us to work on and that’s where the mess starts. I gave them each a piece…
