5 Things I do with my kids everyday.

A day well spent makes a night well rested!

Everyday brings us new things to enjoy and that’s what my kids¬†¬†want. They are full of beans. The activities we do keep them busy and happy. There are a few things we have been doing everyday lately, especially with the nice weather we’ve got. Here we’re got five things we do together everyday.

We read! We play in the garden. We sing. We learn Albanian. We are on the move.

5 things I do with my kids everyday!

Read: Reading is such an important part of our day. Even if I forget they bring the books to me , so I can read to them. Alex has learnt so many words and sounds, shapes and colours. Reading exercises their brain and develops their imagination. Also they love it because it is very entertaining and funny.

Play in the garden: Our days evolve in the garden. From first thing in the morning till last thing in the evening, playing outside is best. This summer the weather is amazing, so are the flowers is the garden. I have been filling the portable pool everyday for them to splash about as much as they want. It’s so much fun for them and not messy at all. What’s more they love the slide, playing Tennis ( well, they don’t know how but they try) , football, riding bikes etc. The most interesting thing in the garden are the flowers, they are so beautiful and my kids must cut them down. They are brilliant gardeners, who look after their flowers by cutting them down to get new ones to bloom. They are nature’s kids.

Singing: Who doesn’t love singing?! We sing the alphabet. we sing to the spider, to the ants and lambs, birds and bees. And everything else that comes to our mind. Singing calms us down. If there is a tantrum and I start singing, they stop. Taaa daaaa They really do! My kids love “IF YOU ARE HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT” Once a week they get to go to the library and sing with the other kids. 30 minutes of absolutely joy and fun. They love it!

Speak Albanian: My kids are bilingual, they learn both English and Albanian. Many researches have shown that children learn a new language very quickly and it’s best to introduce it to them while they are young. I want them to be able to speak to their grandparents, cousins and other relatives. The more languages you know the better it is, the smarter you get.

We are on the move:

Visit the closest shops and then go to the park.

By far this is the best part of their day. Close to our house there is a pet shop which they love. They have rabbits, hamsters , guinea pigs, fishes etc . It might be a bit embarrassing going to the same shop every day but they love it and there is no excuse for that. After the shop visit we go to the park. There we have so much fun. First running after the birds , skating on his scooter, tennis, football all while breathing fresh air. It’s great going to the park when it’s cooler , around 7pm.

How we spent our days is how we spent our lives. We have got a lot more going on for the kids during the day. What about you ? Is there anything you do everyday that you’d like to share with us?

Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a tough time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

      Hello!
Before starting my own blog i did a lot of research and the most suggested platform was wordpress.com .Of course you have to pay for hosting and domain name. when i started it was just a trial on my mind and now that I go back to my own posts I want to keep doing it. The design is different because i designed it myself ,i didnt want to pay for it. Famous bloggers pay for their blogs to look perfect and thats why mine isn’t .
